Total Immersion Book Review: Swimming Never Felt So Good
So I recently just finished up this absolutely PHENOMENAL book on swimming called Total Immersion by Terry Laughlin and I have to say that this book REVOLUTIONIZED swimming for me.

Before this book I was an elephant in the water.
Now... oh boy. Now I glide through the water like an elite ship.
In my personal opinion this is the ONLY book on swimming you would ever need to read, everything else just builds off of this book.
The core concept of the book is that your neural skeleton can be impressed with specific movements and by doing these movements over and over you literally wire yourself with the habit of doing the correct movements. This literally is programming your neurons to perform the perfect movement each and every stroke you take.
Do you know how good it feels to perfectly stroke?
Go read the book and test it for yourself.
I will withhold the techniques written in the book simply because I feel its worth buying the book yourself so you can read and then immediately practice the actions in a pool near you.
I highly recommend reading the book & practicing what it says instantly after reading it.
One extremely beneficial side effect beyond getting into great shape swimming is that when you float in a floatation tank you are much more agile & comfortable. Some of the techniques in this book help you learn how to float better. My experience floating in the tank went up tenfold now that I know how to float properly outside the tank!
What are you doing? Go grab the book and start swimming!
Get Totally Immersed!
Love You!
