The Three Types Of Practice: Innate, Inspired, & Developmental

Today I was watching this video for tips about improving my animation skills, something I am currently developing:
In the video Jazza talks about three types of practice that he figured out from his own head.
They are:
1. Innate Practice
2. Inspired Practice
3. Developmental Practice
Innate Practice happens over time while you do the craft.
The idea is that every single day if you produce a new song you will eventually improve your song creation ability beyond the initial start point simply due to the time investment spent in doing the action of music creation itself.
Inspired Practice happens in rapid bursts.
The idea is that you see something or hear something that causes you to feel a burning desire within yourself to create a work of art. This has happened to me many times. A good goal to set for yourself is to achieve Inspired Practice at will.
Developmental Practice happens when you choose to improve.
The idea is that you sit and watch tutorials or read books to improve the craft that you have chosen to get better at.
Jazza ends the video explaining how the ultimate form of practice is a fusion of the three.
The ultimate goal is to achieve the fourth and final form of practice:
4. Innate Inspired Developmental Practice
The idea is that you are Inspired to start a project that challenges you to Develop yourself further while Innately gaining skills just for putting the time in to complete the project.
Hope this helps you as much as it helped me!
Love Always,
Lux!
